Among the various important components in your car, the fuel injector has a place of its own. The role of the fuel injector is to inject fuel into the car's engine. The electronic control unit in the car helps the fuel injector in delivering the fuel to the engine by informing the injector about the amount of fuel needed by the engine and the proper time for its delivery. However, there are certain factors that affect the functioning of the fuel injectors. Go through the slide to know about the factors that cause the fuel injector to burn in cars.

There are certain components in your car which needs to be maintained regularly for the smooth running and better performance of your car.
One such important component of your car is the fuel injector, whose function is to inject fuel into the vehicle's engine.
The electronic control unit of your car gives instruction to the fuel injector regarding the amount of fuel that needs to be delivered and the proper time for its delivery.
Here are the factors that cause fuel injector burning in your car.
Cars equipped with a diesel engine have a slow metabolism and the engine keeps running slowly for a long time.
The temperature in the cylinder is low and the fuel doesn't burn completely this leads to a situation where the combustion chamber and fuel injection nozzle easily form carbon deposition.
This ultimately results in the deterioration of the working conditions for the fuel injector and in due course of time it burns.
The needle valve and the needle valve body of the fuel injector wear out due to the presence of small particles of impurities in the fuel.
The oil drip issue is a common problem in this type of situations, as due to the needle valve lag, the fuel can't be periodical, quantitatively and quickly sprayed into the combustion chamber.
The combustion speed gets reduced, due to which the burning time of the nozzle gets extended, which ultimately leads to the burning of the fuel injection nozzle.
Moreover, a gap develops between the fuel injection nozzle and the insulation sheath if the nozzle insulation sheath is installed without cleaning.
This leads to the gas entering into the gap, due to which the heat insulation and cooling effect get reduced, which leads to the burning of the fuel injection nozzle.
Furthermore, if there is a delay in the time for fuel injection, then the outside temperature will burn the fuel injection nozzle and the thermal insulator jacket.
The above-mentioned factors are some of the reasons behind the fuel injector getting burned and most often it is seen that the drivers are complaining about burnt fuel injectors.
This is a very serious issue, as it affects both the performance and the safety of occupants of the car and if ever you come across this issue, then take your car to an automotive shop to fix it.
