Websites to Use • Astronomy for Kids: http://www.frontiernet.net/~kidpower/astronomy.html • Kids Astronomy Website: http://kidsastronomy.com/ • Amazing Space Website: • http://amazing-space.stsci.edu/eds/
Utilize Media and Materials: Day 1 • On the 1st day an introduction of the unit will be given. • Students will be given a better understanding of the universe. • Students will access the website: http://www.frontiernet.net/~kidpower/astronomy.html as an activity at the end of the lesson.

Utilize Media and Materials: Day 5 • Presentation Day • Each group will be given about 5 minutes to stand up and explain their model and poster board. • Class will vote on best presentation for a special prize (bonus points/candy) and I will grade each individual presentation without regard to the classroom vote.
Require Learner Participation • Hands-on and interactive activities • Group work allows talking and movement without going off subject as much • Participation = good grade • Class voting on best presentation encourages better performance.
Evaluate and Revise • Participation is key • Creativity, participation, and correctness of information on poster board • Final Presentation will be evaluated as well
