P13601 Titantia Nanotube Reactor By: Garry Clarke, Bill Dullea, Jaeyoung Ho, Kelly McNabb, Mary Medino
Existing Reactor • Recreating a current Titanium Nanotube Reactor • Add features to the Benchmark • Design a new LabView
Humidity Control • Container • Leakage Tests were performed • Psychrometer
Chiller • Used for water bath • Maintain set point temperature • Control the pump speed
Labview • Monitor temperature • Graph • Indicator • Kill system for temperature • Not able to control chiller
Conclusion • Humidity 5.1% within final setup • Constant temperature • Ease of loading/unloading • Clear reactor for observations
Future Plans • Create a larger chamber • Link the chiller remotely • LabView fully controls the chiller • Add external coupling for chiller tubing • Clamping system for the beaker.
Future Plans • Clamping system for the beaker. • If budget allows link get a humidity detector and link to labview • Dry Air flow regulator
