  3. Lord Master and Owner (John 13:13-14) Leads; Has All Power Over; Commands (Mt 28:18) Gives Shelter, Food, Protection (John 14:6) Servant and Slave (Lk 17:10) Obeys, Follows (Heb 5:9, so Acts 10:48) Respects and Honors (2 Thess 1:2, 1 Peter 4:6) Receives Protection (Eph 1:3, John 14:1-6, 14)

  9. Comprehensive Test • Whatever you do in word or deed • Your Christianity is not a few do’s and don’t’s. Act as though every minute of every day the Lord were with us in person.

  10. Do All in the Name of the Lord Jesus • Means “by the Lord’s Authority.” Matt 28:18, Eph 1:22-23 • Does not mean “by the church’s authority.” • Means I live by the Words of Christ. 1 Peter 3:15, 2 John 9, Matthew 7:21

Jesus is Lord – Lessons from Luke 7 Luke 7:37a – Recognize there are opportunities. • The Lord is there, she knows. • Hurry to accomplish this service. • Some say, Christ often goes in the stranger’s clothes. Matt 25:20 “least of these.” Luke 7:37b-38 – Give your best. Luke 7:47-48 – There is great blessing in trusting the Lord then giving of yourself. • Humbled self. Now an unstoppable servant. • She glorified the Lord. Have you seen the Lord’s opportunities?
