Bold Audacious Goal #1: Be better than perfect at educating pharmacists in patient health risk assessment, health promotion, and outcomes management and to have the research capabilities to measure impact of these services • Employ, develop and retain the best trained, credentialed core of pharmacists and technicians to: • 1) Implement advanced practice • 2) Ensure the optimal use of medications • 3) Precept and mentor trainees • Foster high-quality work environment • Promote life-long learners who take charge of their own professional development • Develop a VA staffing model that supports education and research • Enhance the practice of pharmacy technician in dispensing and clinical roles • Strengthen relationship with academia
