Receiving Documents Directly from Institutions • Documents must be sent directly to WES, or its partners (licensing bodies and academic institutions), by the institution for credentials from countries where this is common practice • At present this is required for 162 countries (from Anguilla to Zimbabwe) • Documents from countries where it is not common practice to send directly, are submitted for verification to the institution that issued them • Requests are sent via mail, fax and e-mail • E-Mail and Fax responses are accepted only in instances where it is known common practice Presented at the 2005 CLEAR Annual Conference September 15-17 Phoenix, Arizona
