I recently purchased the all-new variant of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga u2013 the K15 Smart Hybrid. So far, I have clocked 10,000 km and the experience has been great. But the Ertiga shares a fierce rivalry with the Hyundai Creta, which was one of my options before buying the former. <br>

So far, I have clocked 10,000 km and the experience has been great. But the Ertiga shares a fierce rivalry with the Hyundai Creta, which was one of my options before buying the former.  So here’s why I chose the Ertiga over Creta - • Displacement: The Ertiga has a greater Cubic Capacity (CC)- 1462 - while the Creta gets only 1396.

This, combined with its higher cubic capacity, lends it greater power on the road. • Seating Capacity: My family constitutes of 7 members, so the Ertiga is a perfect choice here. The Creta only seats 5, so it's a bit of a space crunch for a family as big as mine.

Over here the Ertiga is more economical than the Creta, starting at Rs 8.66 lakh, on-road Delhi.
