  3. Our Primary Objectives • Raise $480 to fully fund two operations in Santa Cruz, Bolivia • Begin an Operation Smile Chapter on the Texas A&M Campus • Raise community awareness

  4. Fundraising • Built a website with PayPal connections • http://www.wix.com/belen_berdegue/operation_smile • Major success: • Within 1 week of launching website, raised over $600 • Goal ACHIEVED! • Donation jars • Coming Soon to a check-out counter near you

  5. Sustainability • Operation Smile Chapter at Texas A&M • Attended New Student Organization Informational • Personnel • Sarah Edwards, Faculty Advisor • 20 prospective members • Awaiting full recognition • MSC Open House Fall 2012 • Come join!

Awareness • Clip showing with help of MSC Aggie Cinema • Prior to Haywire • April 27th 7pm in Wehner 113 • Donation Jars in effect • Goal for our organization: • Monthly clip showing prior to major movies • Oakwood Intermediate School • Presentation to students • Card writing for patients by students

  7. Setbacks and Success • Setbacks • MSC Aggie Cinema • Unresponsive for a while • Lack of Faculty Advisor • PayPal Technical Difficulties • Routing the donations through us • Waiting for CSISD approval • BUT…Success • Overall very high success rate, particularly with fundraising!
