Product Selection Model • Problem: The door is being forced open and is breaking the locking mechanism • Solution: Up to 1500N holding force switches are available, if the pull force is exceeded the switch will not be damaged and an error will be indicated on the diagnostic LED • Problem: Switches can be bypassed with the use of spare actuators • Solution:Unique actuator models are available with up to 32,000,000 different codes • Problem: Is the equipment to be wired or installed in place? Or re-assembled on site? • Solution: Prewired versions are available offering economy and fixed wiring or M12 connector versions are available for equipment that needs to be disassembled and reassembled on site.

  31. FAQ’s • Q: Can I use other 8-pin M12 cables with the D40ML • A: Yes, however it is not recommended. The wiring colors are different from the pre-wired version. • Q: Can I replace the D40ML actuator? • A: Yes, spare actuators are available for the D40ML-_-B Master coded models. Unique actuators require the replacement of the entire switch.
