In light of the ED.gov "Connected Online Communities of Practice" project and the "Evidence-Based Practices in Online Learning Meta-Analysis" report, use of distance and blended methods for teacher professional development and K-12 instruction is on the horizon. In this session participants will consider blended and online learning models and research-based distance learning strategies for creating an effective learning environment. Come prepared with ideas for designing and developing your online or blended learning course during this session using FREE Wikispaces web-based software!
