Environmental Development • I have chosen to talk about Environmental development because after years their will be a lot of developments in Qatar for example malls, houses, schools, and supermarkets. • There will be major of developments which are : 1. Human Development 2.Social Development 3.Economic Development 4.Environmental Development

Environmental Development The Arab nation, apparently have the strongest bid, leading to some very public statements some indicating that there may have been more at play than the quality of the bid itself. Additionally, as a practical matter, all of the existing stadiums that will be utilized for the event will require upgrades; most have yet to even be built.

Environmental Development All of the stadiums will control the power of the suns rays to provide a cool environment for players and fans by converting solar energy into electricity that will then be used to cool both fans and players. When games are not taking place, the solar installations at the stadiums will export energy onto the power grid. During matches, the stadiums will draw energy from the grid. This is the basis for the stadiums’ carbon-neutrality...Along with the stadiums, they planed to make the cooling technologies they have developed available to other countries in hot climates, so that they too can host major sporting events.

Environmental Development In July 2008, ‘Environmental development was enshrined in the Qatar national Vision 2030 as one of the four key pillars that would support the country’s progress for the benefit of all of it citizens. And one of the most obvious way we at Qatar Foundation can realize this is by ensuring that the very fabric of QF is built in sustainable. Growth must be not only economically and socially sustainable but also environmentally sustainable. As global water and hydrocarbon resources diminish and the effects of pollution and environmental degradation increase, it will become more important for Qatar to work with regional neighbors and the international community to protect the environment.

  12. Environmental Development • How do you think Qatar would have altered its Qatar 2030 plan to take into consideration the holding of the World Cup in 2022? I think that it will improve in the future by many ways. I think that there will be new and improved cultural places. Where there are cultural clothes to buy, and cultural restaurants. Now in Qatar there is Souq Waqif, & the Cultural Village to express Qatari culture, and they are very nice and cultural. I’m pretty sure there will be many new enjoyable cultural places in Qatar in the future.
