  4. Recent Trends • Many are illegal • Want fresh starts • Need opportunities • 53% from Latin America • The U.S. tries to regulate immigrants • Making new laws

  5. Current Laws • Trouble with illegal immigrants • Mexico • Built wall on U.S./ Mexican border • Test for citizen ship • Currently creating more

  6. Possible Future • At current rate many laws • Will contain amount of illegal immigrants • Bad relationship with Mexico • Have very many illegal immigrants

  7. Geopolitical Effects • More people means more building • Urban Sprawl • More people living in cities • More pollution • Less available jobs
