ANASAGAR. Water Purification System The Lake water purification system by Aeration & floating fountains (4 Nos) were installed and is functioning since 23.01.2009. 10 more floating fountains have been installed in 2013 for beautification and aeration of Anasagar Lake.

  2. Water Purification System The Lake water purification system by Aeration & floating fountains (4 Nos) were installed and is functioning since 23.01.2009. 10 more floating fountains have been installed in 2013 for beautification and aeration of Anasagar Lake.

  4. Bio-Remediation • Bio-remediation of drains terminating into Anasagar lake has been taken up since Feb-2013 for treatment of waste water flowing through drains before entering in to the lake. At present work is under Progress In 7 drains are as under : • Nagphani(near Mahaveer colony) • Ramnagar(near R.K marble) • Ramnagar • Kazi ka nallah • Shantipura • Apsara Mension • Choursiawas Drain

  6. Jetty Platform & Walkway The work of Jetty Platform near Chaupati and walkway along the hillock below the circuit house with lighting has been completed.

  8. Fixing of Steel Grill-Jali to check entry of Floating impurities into the Lake is being done . Grill at Shantipura Drain Jali at Anasagar Lake

  10. Different IEC has been taken up to create public awareness & participation which includes showcase of Jhanki of Anasagar lake on republic day function. Distribution of pamphlets and cards for awareness of lake conservation

WORKS PERFORMED UNDER NLCP- ANASAGAR LAKE • The sanctioned desilting work of the lake in 2,15,000 cum has been completed, The work of Desilting in 20000 cum on Anted Nallah, Chaurasiyawas Nallah, Kazi ka Nallah & Bandi Nadi has been completed. • Pucca works for construction work of a pilot channel with cement concrete bed in about 308 m length in Anted Nallah has been completed behind the Press club on the Gaurav Path.

  16. The fencing and Afforestation in 206 Ha & construction of check dam 31 nos have been completed by the forest Dept. • Water Quality Monitoring by testing of sample monthly is being done regularly in lake and drains.
