    3. Year 10 Parents Evening Thursday 18th March 5-30pm – 7-30pm Reminder to Year 10 students to make appointments with subject teachers

    4. Science Week This week is National Science week. The Science team have been busy planning lots of exciting activities to take place in lessons this week. Look out for the Falconry display and the Mega beast road show

    5. English Language coursework catch-up sessions in IL1 : Yr 11 Sets 4-6 with Miss Sutton (Mon to Thurs) Sets 7-9 with Miss Cheetham/Mrs Lees (Mondays only) Yr 10 Sets 1-5 with Miss Sutton (Mon to Thurs) Sign up sheets on door of IL2

    8. SPORT RELIEF Friday, 19th March at 3pm we will be doing the Sport Relief Mile run in the school grounds. Fancy Dress would be great!! All staff and students are welcome. Entry fee is Ł1 There will be Sport Relief socks on sale in school next week. There is a prize for the Tutor Group who have the most entries.

    11. Leavers Dinner The student guest list for the Leavers Dinner has now closed. If students still wish to come but have not yet paid, please see Mrs J Sager. The remaining places will be opened to staff.

    12. Hair & Make-up Demo There will be a hair & make-up demonstration in the Hall on Friday 19th March at 2.45pm for those Year 11 girls going to the Leavers Dinner. A Ł5 deposit will secure an appointment (in school) on the afternoon of the event. Those students who are behind with coursework in BTEC Sport, will not be allowed to go.

    14. Sport Results Football: Yr.7 beat St.Augustines 6-2 Yr.8 beat St.Augustines 7-1 Yr.9 lost to St.Augustines 2-1 Yr.11 lost to St.Augustines 3-2 Inter Family Cricket Yr.7/8 Green Family not only had the most competitors but also won, so well done to them! The PE faculty are looking forward to the cricket season with the potential shown by the Year 7’s.

    16. Every Tuesday 3pm – 4pm in Community Room 2 Come along to this after school club to discuss ‘What makes a healthy lifestyle?’. We will make posters and do some fun and exciting activities whilst we learn!! Come along to join us every Tuesday . at 3pm in Comm. 2 to join . in the fun!.
