Abuse Definition: • Abuse is the physical or emotional hurt caused to a person by the mistreatmentof others. • It is the misuse of power, control or anger to make someone feel manipulated, hurt scared or humiliated Activity 1 Get ready to explain the definitions for each green word.   5. What is abuse,mistreatment, manipulation or humiliation? Abuse is when someone does or says things to you to make you upset or frightened. You may be scared to speak out or to stop them. You may be abused on purpose, or by someone who may not realise that what they are doing is abusive. It’s when someone has power over you, and you do not agree to what is happening.
