  4. CPLP Is… What is CPLP? • Credential for workplace learning and performance professionals offered by the ASTD Certification Institute (ASTD CI)

  5. Focuses on Learning Results in a certificate that acknowledges course completion Certificate Program Certification Process CPLP Is Not… • Focuses on Testing/ Assessment • Results in a designation that validates competence, similar to the CPA credential for Accountants

  6. CPLP Steps Step 1: Meet Eligibility and Readiness Requirements Step 2: Take / Pass the Knowledge Exam Step 3: Prepare / Submit a Successful Work Product Ongoing: Recertification

  7. Knowledge Test 150 multiple choice questions. Assessing knowledge application in 9 Areas of Expertise. For scoring purposes some areas are weighted more than others. No penalties for guessing. Work Product Submission Submission of work product in one of five available AOEs. Work product must be current. Provide answers to questions about project. Must obtain signed permission from stakeholders and participants. Independently rated by experts in the field. CPLP Components
