What do values have to do with work? • For a huge part of our life (unless we are very lucky) we spend a significant part of our waking hours at work. • If we work in a job that does not reflect our values, we may feel uncomfortable or unhappy at work. • Work that does not meet our values may lead us to feel discontented, like we are missing out on something. • Our values can change as we grow and age… sometimes our work has to change as well.
