Research for Health in Humanitarian CrisesFirst Call for Proposals: Timeline for applications Expression of Interest Short-listing Full Application Appraisal Contr-acting 1 Jan 2014: Deadline for submission Early Mar 2014: Funding committee decisions announced Mid Oct 2013: Invitations to submit full application Apr 2014: Grants operational 25 Jul 2013: Call opens 10 Sep 2013: Call closes Expressions of Interest should be submitted through the online application system, via www.elrha.org/r2hc. The call will open on 25 July. Funding is available under the R2HC’s First Call for Proposals to support research that will strengthen the evidence base for effective public health interventions in humanitarian crises. A total fund of up to £3 million is available under the First Call for Proposals. Depending on the quality and number of proposals received, we anticipate 10-15 grants being funded in this Call.
