  1. Today eShield ECO Fiberglass Insulation offers a cost-effective solution that safely provides excellent thermal and acoustic performance.

  2. Fiberglass Is A Green Sustainable Material Recycled Content Nationally fiberglass is the largest secondary market for recycled glass containers. The recycled glass used in fiberglass insulation saves more than 27 million cubic feet of landfill space every year. That’s 2.2 billion pounds of recycled post-consumer glass.

  3. What’s not made from recycled materials is made mostly from sand, and abundant and rapidly renewable resource. However eShield ECO Fiberglass is 100% recycled. For more than 60 years, the performance of fiberglass has undergone continual improvement to enhance its affordability and efficiency.

  4. Naturally Fire Resistant Unlike many organic insulations, such as Cellulose, fiberglass does not require toxic fire retardants that can leach out of other insulation types over time, leaving them without protection from heat and flame.

  5. Insulates Well And Prevents Pollution Efficient thermal insulation is fundamental to energy efficiency. By reducing the demand for energy, it reduces the pollutants created by energy generation and ultimately saves money that would be spent on heating and cooling.

  6. Safety • Through the years fiberglass has been one of the most tested building materials and has been proven to be safe for both workers and the end users of the product. • In 2000 the U.S. Academy of Science found “no significant association between fiber exposure and lung cancer.” • In 2001 The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer removed fiberglass insulation from its list of possible carcinogens. • In 2004 The U.S. Department of Health and Home Services Agency for Toxic Substance and Disease Agency said, ”study showed no consistent evidence of disease among workers involved in the manufacturing SVFs (Snthetic Vitrous Fibers).”

  7. eShield ECO Fiberglass Insulation is free from formaldehyde and there is no off gassing of any materials.
