  2. In 1963. . . • You were known as El Camino High School • Dr. A.D. Abbott was the Principal • The Aerie was in black and white

  3. In 2008. . . • We’re “Fundamental” • Dr. A.D. Abbott is the namesake of our football stadium • The Aerie is in color

  4. Sports in 1963. . . • It was a man’s world (Basketball, Wrestling, Baseball, Track, and Swim). • Ladies could join the Girls’ Athletic Association.

  5. Sports in 2008. . . • Ladies finally get their shot at athletic greatness (Basketball, Softball). • And in recent years, they have even started playing football in the annual Powder Puff game!

  6. Radio in 1963. . . • Members of the Radio Club repaired and built radios. • They also learned Morse Code in order to qualify for their Amateur Radio Operators licenses.

  7. Radio in 2008. . . • Members of the Beginning Radio class learn the rules of radio broadcasting and take the FCC test. • Members of the Advanced Radio class manage KYDS 91.5 FM, broadcasting diverse music to the greater Sacramento area.
