This is “Rat Lane” It is Street Art found In a Laneway off Sturt opposite the Town Hall. The rat has two t ails!. This is a Statue of Minerva, the Roman Goddess of wisdom , arts and defence. This statue is on top of the Mechanics institute on Sturt St.

This is a Statue of Minerva, the Roman Goddess of wisdom , arts and defence. This statue is on top of the Mechanics institute on Sturt St. Construction began in 1859 and it took over 10 years to build.
