  2. About the Survey We wanted to understand online shopping trends in Malaysia. To know more we asked shoppers about ● Which online store they prefer buying? ● Are coupons and offers driving them to buy online? ● What do they usually shop? and many more The results of the survey are in the following slides.

  3. Malaysian women love to shop ● 77% who showed interest in online shopping were women.

  4. Young adults in Malaysia are shopping ● 60% of the shoppers were between 26 and 40 years of age

  5. Trust on online shopping ● 85% of Malaysian buyers trust on prices marked on products when they shop online

  6. Appliances and Apparels are the top buys ● Top 2 categories being shopped by our survey participants were Apparel – 25% and Appliances – 26%

  7. Coupons are the driving force ● 96% think Coupons are needed to shop online.

  8. Coupon Sites are the places to search ● 26% of the Malaysians would search for coupons in Coupon Sites ● 18% search in Search Engines like Google

  9. Lazada Malaysia is the favorite ● 34% would shop in Lazada Malaysia ● 19% check in Groupon ● 17.3% loved Zalora, the fashion store
