  2. Twenty-eight HeroesPanfilovs.

  3. The great Patriotic war was a severe test for the Soviet people. The enemy has occupied a large territory of the Soviet Union. The Nazis were eager to get to the heart of our Motherland, Moscow.

  4. The battle for Moscow occupies a special place among the major events of he second world war. Here, on the outskirts of the capital, Hitler's army suffered its first serious defeat.

  5. On November 7th 1941 in the red square military parade was held. The participants went off the front right from the parade .

  6. The Defense Of Moscow Was headed by General GeorgyKonstantinovich Zhukov.

  7. In the battle of Moscow special, courage and heroism has been shown by the legendary warriors of the 316th infantry division. It was formed in Kazakhstan. Ivan Panfilov was assigned to district commander of the division.

  8. I. V. Panfilov. • Ivan Panfilov was born in January 1, 1893 in the city of Petrovsk (now the Saratov region) in the family of small clerical employee.

  9. There were picked three infantry regiments n the division , one artillery and two special forces. The national structure of the division was the epitome of friendship and brotherhood of the peoples of the Soviet Union.

  10. On 26 August the division was incorporated into the 52nd army. In October It has arrived to Moscow and received direction to Volokolamsk. It was the fifth month of the war.

  11. In one of the first strikes Panfilov division took part. At the railway siding Dubosekovo 28 Panfilov heroes within four hours fought with enemy tanks and did not let them to Moscow.

  12. The 28 fighters division of General I. C. Panfilov headed political Commissar of the Century, Klochkov made immortal feat.

  13. 16 of November 1941. The 148th day of the war. Sunday. And although there is no day off on war, even this fact is perceived in a special way

  14. Storm of tanks have moved in the Volokolamsk direction. On their way the have been stood up by 28 soldiers.

  16. On 19th of November 1941 during the battle Ivan Panfilov was killed by shrapnel mines. On April 12, 1942, major-General Panfilov posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union.

  17. 28 soldiers against 50 tanks . 28 Panfilov heroes stepped into immortality

  18. On July 24, 1942 all 28 fighters were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Here are their names: Klochkov, VasiliGeorgievich., Dobrobabin Ivan Evstafievich, Shemetkov Ivan Alekseevich, Kryuchkov Abram Ivanivich, MitinGavriilStepanovich., KasaevAikbay, PetrenkoGrigoryAlexeevich,EsibulatovNarsutbay, Kaleinikov Dmitry Mitrofanovich, Natarov Ivan Moiseevich, ShemyakinGrigory Mikhailovich, Dutov Peter Danilovich, Mitchenko Nicholai, ShopokovDushankul, KonkinGrigoryEfimovich, Shadrin Ivan Demidovich, Moskalenko Nicholai, Yemtsov Peter Kuzmich, Kuzhebergenov Daniel Alexandrovich, Timofeev Dmitri Fomich, Trofimov, Nikolai Ignatievich, BondarenkoYakovAlexandrovichVasilievLarionRomanovich., Bolotov Nikolai, BezrodnyGrigory, Singirbaev Mustafa, Maksimov Nikolay, AnanievNicholay... Didn't know then, four of them - Timofeev, Vasiliev, Shemyakin, Shadrin – that they were alive.

  19. The monument to the defenders of Moscow was opened on 24 June 1974 and is located on the 40th km of the Leningrad highway at the entrance in Zelenograd, a city near metro Kryukovo, where during the war, fierce fighting took place and where were finally stopped by the German division.

  20. In the harsh years of the great Patriotic war were the eyes of millions of Soviet people .Moscow was the embodiment of heroism , fortitude, and courage.
