  1. What is Burger Week? Burger Week in Montreal is the first of it’s kind in Canada. Be part of the start of what is already giant in other cities around the world. Burger Week is a uniquely interactive dining experience, allowing people to taste specially created and priced burgers at participating Montreal restaurants, between September 1st and 7th. Through our Burger Week website, everyone is invited to review every burger they try, in order to finally declare the winner the best/most popular burger in the city. A few special celebrity judges will also help with this quest for the best burger of the event. Burger Week is a contest amongst restaurants, a fun food tour and discovery tool for hungry Montrealers to find new burger joints in their city!

The Celebrity Judges Celebrity judges like Montreal Canadiens’ PK Subban, Montreal Alouettes’ Shea Emry and Bitchin Kitchen’s Nadia G will also take on the role of celebrity burger connoisseurs to help determine the best burger (Judges’ Choice Best Burger) in the city.Each of the celebrity judges will be visiting the 3 most voted restaurants on any given day throughout the week. We will be live streaming their event and creating a video to share, including your restaurants branding.

  3. The Burger Competition • Your chef will get the chance to create a unique and delicious burger that will attract clients to your restaurant. The Burger Week website will help you to promote your restaurant and burger to the city.Your restaurant can win:- A Youtube video & live stream with a celebrity trying your burger- Photo opportunities of your burger with a Montreal celebrity- A chance to win the free burger & drinks 5 à 7 hosted at your restaurant. • - Media coverage on your restaurant (Bloggers and Journalists) • - Promoted as the best burger on our and other popular websites in the city • - Awarded best people’s choice burger of the city

  4. How do I benefit from Burger Week? Burger Week is an interactive and real life experience that harnesses the power of social media for your restaurant.Each user is encouraged, through an incentive point system, to engage online with other users, the restaurants and the Burger Week website. Photos, tweets and the like grant Burger Week points that could be used towards purchases from our sponsorship store (merchandise, gift certificates, etc). Your burger and restaurant will benefit from this engagement. You can also include items in our store, as people will be invited to use their points to get gift certificates.

  6. Trophy & the Winner’s party The people’s choice winning burger will get a party hosted by Burger Week MTL. A 5 a 7 party where we will invite everyone to come at the winning restaurant for free burgers and drinks. (Expensed by Burger Week Mtl) A trophy will be awarded to the two best burger restaurants in the city. A status will be assigned as the best burger in the city. Our website will showcase the best restaurant for a year.
