Standard area description • Assessment and Evaluation • Teachers use technology to: evaluate student learning, interpret results from assessment tools, and evaluate student use of technology.
Evaluation • Multiple methods of evaluation to determine student use of tech resources for learning, communication, productivity • On-line research assignment – Student Tasks • Develop critical question • Determine web-based research 2+ sites • Develop rubric and assess quality of each site
One performance indicator • Create organizational tool for research “nuggets” (i.e.: Inspiration), add factoids • Develop PowerPoint • Develop rubric to assess PowerPoint (presentation mode and information mode) • Create blog site for student responses to the PowerPoint, read/interpret responses • Self-assess project via Word Document to teacher
