“What we are learning” posts: Funding • ARC funding is “seed” funding. • “Grant writing needs to be focused & prepared with specific outcomes; must be motivated & in agreement.” • “We need a timeline with benchmarks to establish a funding plan.”

Leadership Networking: CCL • It’s all about building relationships & making alliances • A good leadership network provides access to: • People • Information • Resources • Networks can: • Increase effectiveness • Remove political roadblocks • Strengthen power base • Gain exposure • Uncover new opportunities
Putting it all together: next steps • Acknowledge concerns & identify strategies to address them. • Develop individual action plans for sustainability. • Connect individual action plans to larger picture (AHE Network). • Adjust & refine plans individually & collectively as needed to move forward.
