Database Configuration • Archiving is enabled. • Log files are mirrored and distributed across multiple devices. • Control files are mirrored and distributed across multiple devices. • Flashback Database is enabled. • Full backup of the database exists, including archive log files.
Method for Resolving Database Issues • Phase I: Diagnose the problem. • Phase II: Determine the appropriate method to resolve the problem. • Phase III: Resolve the problem. • Phase IV: Back up the database, if needed.
