  1. Do you want to be known as a do-gooder? Some people use the term do-gooder in a sarcastic way, but every Christian should want to do good!

  2. Jesus was a do-gooder! The Bible says that when Jesus lived on earth He “went about doing good!” (Acts 10:38)

  3. YOUR ENEMIES! “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44) To whom should you do good?

  4. To whom should we do good? THOSE HAVE NOT DONE GOOD THINGS TO US! “And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.”(Luke 6:33)

  5. To whom should we do good? EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY FELLOW CHRISTIANS! “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:10)

  6. Why Should We Do Good? IT IS SIN IF WE DON’T! “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” (James 4:17)

  7. Why Should We Do Good? WE’LL GAIN ETERNAL LIFE IF WE DO! “…eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality” (Romans 2:7)

  8. Why Should We Do Good? SO THAT GOD WILL BE GLORIFIED! “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

  9. One of the reasons we have assembled today is to “to stir up love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24) May each of us be stirred to do good by our worship together today.
