  3. Welcome! Welcome to the presentation of our enhancement component Internal Delivery Performance PP

  4. Basic features

  5. Measurement of the internal delivery reliability by offsetting of quantities received against requirements: Comparison of target date and actual date Comparison of target quantity and actual quantity Evaluation according to VDA 5001 Consideration of individually adjustable evaluation parameters (tolerances etc.) Basics Basic features

  6. Basis Evaluation Material document 1 10/1/2004 110 Evaluation 1 VDA 0,5 Requirement 10/1/2004 100 10/3/2004 120 10/9/2004 110 Material document 2 10/2/2004 130 Evaluation 2 VDA 1.2 Material document 3 10/3/2004 90 Evaluation 3 VDA 0 Parameters Tolerance Quantity Tolerance Time MRP Elements …..

  7. For each receipt posting several parallely executed evaluations are possible: with different evaluation parameters stored as 'evaluation set' Analysis selectable for each 'evaluation set' Due to this parallel evaluation a receipt posting can be evaluated and analyzed considering different aspects. Basics Evaluation sets

  8. Evaluation Set 1 Analysis of Set 1 Evaluation Set 2 Analysis of Set 2 Evaluation Set n Analysis of Set n Basics Evaluation sets Independent evaluations according to receipt posting through evaluation sets Evaluation Parameters / Filter Tolerances Material document Further settings for each evaluation set Revaluation for each set is possible

  9. Basics Evaluation basis The basis of the requirement is either the MD04 or the production / maintenance order MD04 - Requirement 10/1/2004 100 10/3/2004 120 10/9/2004 110 Evaluation result either Material document Production order Quantity 100 Start 10/1/2004 Finish 10/3/2004 or Evaluation result

  10. Example for the evaluation basis'MD04'

  11. Evaluation basis MD04 Evaluation basis MD04 Starting point is the MD04 at the moment of the receipt posting (material document)

  12. Evaluation basis MD04 Evaluation basis MD04 The current stock (MD04) is offset against the negative MRP elements. That requirement a material shortage occurs for is the 'starting point' for the offsetting of the receipt quantity.

  13. Evaluation basis MD04 Evaluation MD04 Beginning with the 'starting point' the receipt quantity is offset against the subsequently scheduled (relevant) demands. Offsetting of receipt quantity

  14. Evaluation basis MD04 Display of the MD04 evaluation on the Bensberg user interface green = covered by stock yellow = partly covered red = not covered without color = not relevant material shortage yellow = evaluated requirements green = MRP element evaluation

  15. Evaluation basis MD04 Evaluation result for this receipt posting

  16. Evaluation for evaluation basis'Production order'

  17. Evaluation basis Production order Evaluation basis Production order Deadlines and quantities Production order Offsetting Evaluation

  18. Evaluation

  19. Evaluation Filter • Filter for reducing the number of material documents • transaction/event type, document type, material type, movement type • Filter for influencing the offsetting of current stock and receipt quantity • MRP element • All filters can be agreed on for each evaluation set

  20. Evaluation Filter Filter Offsetting stock and receipt quantity Transaction/event type Document type Material document Material type Material document Movement type Material document MRP element according to evaluation set

  21. Evaluation Histories Storage of histories for selected materials for the MD04-offsetting Tag 1 Tag 2 Tag 3 Tag 4 Tag n History 1 History 2 History 3 History 4 History 5

  22. Time window Evaluation Histories MD04 History 1 Monday MD04 History 2 Tuesday MD04 History 3 Wednesday MD04 History 4 Thursday MD04 current Friday Goods movement Friday Punishment in the short time area will be avoided: VDA 4,00 VDA 2,00 VDA 0 • Definition of time windows • parallel evaluation of all MD04-Histories within the time window • Consideration of the most favorable MD04 Used MD04 for evaluation

  23. Backlog

  24. Backlog Rückstand Evaluation of backlogs • Determination of backlogs at a defined point of time: • MD04-requirements with date < or <= current date (adjustable) • Production orders with date < or <= current date • leads to complete backlog view • Evaluation as 'normal' material movements • Consideration of the backlog evaluation upon the analyzes is optional

  25. Material staging 15.11. Quantity 200 covered quantity 0 10 8 VDA 6 4 2 15.11. 16.11. 17.11. 18.11. 19.11. 20.11. 21.11. 22.11. Date Backlog Backlog evaluation

  26. Analyses

  27. Analyses • Analysis according to VDA 5001 (part of) and percent • Individual analysis of each receipt posting (material document) with each evaluation basis • Analysis according to plant, storage location and month(cross table) • Analysis according to time and quantity

  28. Individual analysis Setting of the selection and sort criterionfor the individual analysis Start further selections can be activated Evaluation set

  29. Individual analysis Analysis set PBED_2 according to plant with individual evaluation of each item involved Sort key Overdelivery/ Underdelivery Evaluation basis next slide

  30. Individual analysis VDA-evaluation (MD04) according to settings too early next slide check of evaluation basis

  31. Individual analysis MD04 at the moment of the material posting (basis deadlines) green = covered by stock yellow = partly covered red = not covered without color = not relevant grün = abgedeckt durch Bestand gelb = zum Teil abgedeckt rot = nicht abgedeckt ohne Farbe = nicht relevant material shortage yellow = evaluated requirements green = MRP element evaluation

  32. Individual analysis VDA-evaluation (Production orders) according to settings Deadlines and Quantities Production order Offsetting Evaluation

  33. Individual analysis Functions of the individual analysis Make remarks + change key figures interactive (if executed indicated by a lightning sign) • Download / Excel • Filter • Graphics • Sort keys • Remarks/Modifications • Hyperlinks • User profile

  34. Technical environment

  35. Embedding of the Bensberg components in the SAP R/3 • Add-on to R/3 • Programmed in "ABAP" (Advanced Business and Application Programming) • own name space, assigned by SAP (/BEE/) • thus, no intervention in R/3, but access on R/3-data • runable under R/3-Releases 4.0 - 4.7 with or without Automotive • automatic generation by SAP-Standard transport • available language versions: D, E
