WHAT DOES A CARER DO • Washing bodies & laundry & dishes. • Keeping appointments & records & tempers. • Giving medicine & time & hugs. • Filling forms & fridges & silences. • Dealing with doctors & nurses & pharmacists. • And social workers & benefits agencies. • And care workers & a lack of sleep.

  4. Caring for a friend or relative can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience. It’s also a big undertaking that, on occasion, can leave you feeling tired and stressed.
