  2. About the Event • The first ever Reduce Reuse Recycle event at SIS. • Whole school event in the canteen • Starts at 2pm-4.00pm

  3. About the Event Three main features: • Year 9 Enterprise Games • Year 8 Fashion Show • Teacher/Parent led Swap Shop You are solely responsible for the 3R’s message.

  4. Your Brief • Having conducted research into the problems we are causing our environment. Your tasks are: • to create an innovative and interesting ‘Eco Game’ • to raise awareness of the 3 R’s • You will be working in groups of up to 4 • The game should be made entirely of recycled or reused materials.

  5. Things to think about… • PRODUCT: • Who is your customer? Will they like your product? • What materials will you need? • Quality. Will it last the event? • How big is it? Will you have enough space in the canteen? • Will you have enough time to make it?

  6. Things to think about… • PRICE: • How much should you charge per go? • What factors do you need to consider when setting price? • PLACE: • You will have a space in the canteen allocated to you. You will have to decide what to do with that space. • Do you need tables? Display boards? Chairs? etc.

  7. Things to think about… • PROMOTION: • How will people know about your game? • What’s special about your group’s game? The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about the importance of the 3 R’s. • Does this message come across in your marketing? • Are you considering the 3R’s when promoting or being hypercritical?

  8. Prizes • A prize will be awarded for: • The most innovative game &; • The highest revenue received from playing the eco game.
