February 19th Pit crew Workshops Time Trials March 5th Preliminaries & Finals Awarding the Following: Wendell Scott Invitational Cup ( Overall Winner ) Elias Bowie Award ( Runner-up) Charlie Scott Award ( Third Place ) Pastors Award ( Appearance ) Stunt Driver Award ( Best / Most Crashes ) Sunday Driver ( Slowest / last place contestant ) 1st Lady Award ( top showing of any female contestant) Cub-Masters Award ( best effort – regardless of results )

Charlie Scott ( ) is credited with being the second person of color to participate in a officially sanctioned NASCAR event in Daytona beach Fl. February 26, 1956, his first & only race.
