HOW TO SEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS • Google Chandler Unified School District • Use drop down to choose Basha High • Click on Our School and choose Career Center • Click on Scholarships • Search by Scholarship Listings • Register for E Blasts! It is recommended that you keep a notebook with dates of scholarship searches. List all scholarships researched with a yes or no to help you manage the submissions.

PSAT • Oct 14 sign up ends Sept 15 in the bookstore. The cost is $20. Testing Information • PSAT • October 14 • Sign up in the bookstore 7-25 to 9-15 • Juniors • ACT/SAT • BHS administration of ACT • Spring semester
GradesAll correspondence requires prior permission—see your counselor • Report cards every 9 weeks on Infinite Campus • Progress report at the 4.5 week interval in-between report cards handed to student during class • .5 credit earned for D or higher • Credit check • Report cards each semester will be available on Infinite Campus
Credit Recovery • Summer School (Fee charged per semester.) • March– registration through counselors—online registration only, no paperwork • June-- courses • Bear Down Days-- email grade/transcript to counselor and request any schedule changes that may result • Repeat course during the school year– no repeat credit may be earned • CUSD on-line (No fee if one of the six courses during the school year. Otherwise $181 per semester course.)
Basha Graduation Requirements • 4 English • 4 math • 3 lab science • 3 social studies • 1 PE • .5 health • 1 fine art/vocational • 5.5 electives
In-State University Requirements Required 16 high school core courses – • 4 credits English • 4 credits Math (Pre-Calculus or higher) • 3 credits Lab Science (1 physical, 1 biological, 1 other) (Ag Science 1 and 2 together count as 1 lab science and 1 elective science) • 2 credits Social Studies • 2 credits World Language (level 2 or higher) • 1 year of Fine Art (art, music, or drama) OR 1 year CTE (for AZ colleges only) Assured Admission Requirements: • completion of ALL 16 core requirements plus one of the following: • Top 25% of graduation class OR • A core GPA of 3.0 OR • A possible SAT or ACT score
