Holy of Holies Exo 26:33 - And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy. Heb 9:2 - For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary.

What is the Holy of Holies? • God's thoughts (words) • What thoughts? • Exo 25:22 - And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel. • Jer 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. • Rom 11:34 • Speak from between the Cherubim – Intercession

What is in God's Mind (Ark)? • Needs, Nourishment • The food (Manna) with which He feeds His people on their journey towards the “Promised Land” (Heaven) • The Authority of the Church: • The Church has the authority to punish sinners (Rod of Aaron): I Cor 5:1-2,5 - …Deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. • , Prov 13:24 - He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly. • 1 Cor 11:32 - But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. • Teachings, Guidelines • The laws (Commandments) were engraved by the finger of God: Matt 5:18 (everlasting word) - For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. • Ps 50:10
The Golden Censer • Offer the prayers before God: • Lev 16:13 - And he shall put the incense on the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the Testimony, lest he die. • Rev 8:3, Rev 5:8 • Symbol of Virgin Mary • The idea of Salvation and Incarnation and prayers is before His eyes.

The Table of Showbread • Cakes: Lev 24:5-9 • 12 cakes: 12 Patriarchs: • 12 Tribes of Israel • 12 disciples • 2 rows: Jews, Gentiles • Frankincense: Prayers (Rev 5.8) • Eat in a Holy place: • Word of God is found only in a holy place (church)
The Table of Showbread • Disciples were (bread) to feed the people • Disciples all had the same doctrine (all on the same table) • 12 = 5 + 7: a blessing – • 5 loaves & 2 fish (Matt 14:14) • 7 loaves & 2 fish (Matt 15.32) • 12 = 3 X 4: In the Name of the Trinity, the disciples preached in the four corners of the earth: • Matt 28:19 - Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
The Table of Showbread • Table on the left side (towards the heart): • God loves all the world: • Isa 49:15-16, John 3.16 • (He loved all the world) • On the left side, so that Christ can bless them with His right.

Seven Lamps • Seven lamps/lampstands: • Seven churches: Rev 1:20 • Seven: pillars of faith, Sacraments • Prov 9:1 - Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars; • Christ is holding (protecting)the church in His right hand
The Golden Lampstand • The lamps were lit at night • Period of darkness • Light of the world (Christ) • 2 Chr 13:11 - And they burn to the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense; they also set the showbread in order on the pure gold table, and the lampstand of gold with its lamps to burn every evening… • The believers need to be the light of the world to those who are living in darkness: • Luke 1:76-79 - And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest… To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.” • 2 Cor 5:20 - Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
Altar of Incense • Exo 30:1-10
Altar of Incense • 1 Cubit X 1 Cubit (Square) • Symbolizes the Heart of God: • His feelings are the same towards everyone • The Gospel is preached to all: • 2 Cor 2:15 - For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
Altar of Incense • Burn incense in the morning and evening: • always pray (Luk 18:1) • In the church we still offer (raise) incense in the morning and evening.
