New Year’s Resolutions Fail Here’s Why: People who make New Year’s Resolutions to be fit, lose weight, or even to be healthy are totally missing the mark. Those goals are really short-term goals, and all on the surface. What they need to look at is the bigger picture… kādi
ā new LIFE resolution And that is… that what we really want is to change our LIFE! To live for something greater, to have purpose, and to pursue our dreams and passions to make a lasting impact! kādi
But fitness ā foundation… Most people view fitness as something separate that is added into their already hectic life. But, fitness should be viewed as a foundation of strength that changes their WHOLE life. How do I know this works? Look around at the people at kadi… Look at the ones who: Come week in and week out. The ones whos faces you see every time you are here. The are the ones who recognized a long time ago that it wasn’t JUST about being in shape. Sure, they lost weight and look amazing! But, they come now, because they know how it has impacted their ENTIRE life. They have seen all of their dreams and ambitions in every facet achieved because of what the community here does for them: *They are wonderful role models for their spouses and kids. *They are high achievers in their careers. *They eat right because they feel right. *They exuberate joy and positive energy that inspire people around them. kādi
Close your eyes… kādi
Step 1: Create Community Gather in a team of 4 or 5. “You are the average of the 5 people you hang out with most.” kādi
Step 2: Create Goals To build community you have to know and care. Talk to your group about: What it would mean to you to “own” your life instead of “renting” it. What would you do if you could do ANYTHING? (Each person answer specific to YOU). This is the BIG picture. kādi
Because fitness is the foundation, create your short-term goals: Guidelines: ☐Quantifiable ☐Doable within 1 month’s time (If the goal will be progressing each month, come up with several months in advance). ☐Challenging: Change only comes with challenge. kādi
BIG AND BOLD FITNESS GOAL: Quantifiable and attainable within one-month’s time? It may be the same goal for every month. Workout 5 days a week OR Different every month: January- Walk 2 days a week, boga or yoga 2 days a week February- 1 Walk, 2 Cardio, 2 Boga or Yoga March- 1 Run, 2 Cardio, 1 Primal, 1 Boga … etc. or January- Be able to do 10 pushups February- Run 3 miles without stopping March- Do 3 unassisted pullups … etc. SHARE THEM WITH THE GROUP. kādi

Stick to your goals for one-month If any ONE person gives up, the whole group loses all of their money. *50% goes into a pot *25% to building our school in Kenya *25% goes to ā new you event kādi
At the end of each month… • Winners and losers all get to celebrate with: ā new you event Delicious Gourmet “Real Food” Live Music Art and a little indulgence. kādi
But, one-month is easy That’s why the group who stays with it the longest gets the pot! (of money) kādi
BOTTOM LINE By simply exercising, you can achieve ALL of your life’s goals. Once you figure that out, you’ll exercise for life. kādi
