  1. Meet the Teacher! Miss Suiter Mrs Harrison Miss Madden (AM only)

  2. Key Worker • Named member of staff with responsibilities for a small group of children who helps those children in the group feel safe and cared for (Nurturing approach). • That person is a familiar figure who is accessible and available as a point of contact for parents and one who builds those key relationships • Small groups allow adults to ‘tune into’ your child’s interests and needs more effectively • Key worker will record pupil development – Capture, parents’/carers will be able to access this at home • Key worker will make themselves known to parent/carer by 21/09/18

  3. Routine/ Timetable • Routine will comprise of– Circle time, CP, maths, phonics (following RWI), daily massage, dance routines (brain breaks) and story-telling sessions. SGW will be incorporated into time-table/ Key Person time • Focus for this term is on Goldilocks and the Three Bears • *subject to change • *Every Tuesday PPA – Children will access Music and PE from outside organisations'

  4. Rewards At Croxteth Community Primary, we praise positive behaviour and hard work! • Verbal praise and recognition • Do-jo system • Certificates/wrist bands • Daisy/ Dora the class dog • Regular conversations and updates with parents'/carers

  5. Sanctions • Reminders (RIP), cautions, meetings with parents, • Phone calls and chats with parents

  6. Social Media • Regular updates will be displayed on our dojo system/ class blog and Twitter.

  7. Keep an eye out for… • Lending library weekly • Parental Information board • Wristbands- “Ask me about…” • Massage consent letter • Monthly Stay and Play – every Thursday of the month with first S&P commencing 4/10/18. Targeted sessions i.e Phonics, Messy Maths, Stay and Read • Parents’ of children who will be 4 by 1/09/19 need to be aware of Reception places opening in Oct, DEADLINE Jan

  8. General Reminders • Spare clothes with names- if clothes are borrowed please return ASAP • Attendance and punctuality/ Timings of school day • Permission/information slips (Medical forms) • Appointments/sickness must have evidence • INSET 21/09/18
