After the previous building was damaged by a fire in 2013, Ottawa Community Housing has worked hand in hand with CSV to reuse the existing and undamaged footings and basement walls and to come up with a 16 units replacement building. The new building, known as 211 Lees Avenue, aims to provide affordable, healthy, and comfortable residential units with lower operation and maintenance costs.

This highly efficient building provides support services and housing to men and women with severe psychiatric illness. Salus Clementine was specially designed to lower down up to 66% energy consumption and to reduce operational and maintenance costs while still offering sustainably-built environments that offer healthy space to reside, work and play. It is situated in an established inner suburb of Ottawa, just nearby the local shopping center and public transport.
