Conclusions • More testing is required, specifically with penetrator type projectiles • The theoretical solution is not an accurate representation of the results • The use of a different launcher would aid in mitigating the effects of muzzle blast (rail gun) • The use of a ‘protected’ chronograph could provide accurate velocity values John Polansky
