Physical needs for yawning • These are some hypotheses for physical reasons of yawning: • When our blood needs more oxygen • To regulate body temperature • Chemicals in our brain that affect moods and emotions could cause us to yawn

Is yawning contagious? • Nobody really knows of yawning contagious • Some people just think it’s a way of synchronizing behavior
