Information on future tenders • Information Bulletin (subscription charge) • Monthly update and information on EU-financed project opportunities • Information about aid-funded business events • Increasingly project information about EIB/EBRD British Expertise - July 2010 UKRep, Commercial Section
What does UKRep Commercial Section do? • Help in solving problems* • e.g. • Advice on procurement procedures, rules and regulations • Influence Commission on PRAG revisions through organisation of Member States meetings with EuropeAid. • Advice and assistance with payment problems • Differing views encountered in country on rules and procedures at tendering or implementation stage of a project • Documentary evidence • NB. Help in identifying potential partners* • Organisation of two sector based networking seminars annually (around • 150 companies from 16 Member States). • Project specific partner seeking service (in co-operation with other Member States Perm Reps and Trade Offices in Brussels) • Contacts in other Member States (NB.
