  2. To Begin Deployment • Once the Hoshin Team has drafted an X-Matrix they pass it down to the next level of the organization's management hierarchy. • To begin, members of the Hoshin Team will be chosen to act as Tactical Team. • The Hoshin Team will need to conduct a meeting with all the Tactical Team leaders in order to facilitate collaboration. www.uttana.com

  3. Meeting with Tactical Team Leaders • During this meeting, team members will: • Discuss the plan. • Draft A3's in order to charter teams. • Come to a final consensus on which Tactics to use. www.uttana.com

  4. Tasks for Tactical Team Leaders • Each Tactical Team will need to prepare their own X-Matrix based on the Hoshin Team's original. • Objectives in the Strategies section can be removed, added, or adjusted. • The Tactical Team Leaders will also need to draft A3's in order to document any opportunities for improvement. • They make any necessary adjustments to earlier A3's drafted by the Hoshin Team. www.uttana.com

  5. Forming Tactical Teams • Tactical Team leaders will assemble teams to carrying out the activities proposed on the A3's. • The Tactical Team leaders will then present their proposed plans to the entire Hoshin Team. • This will be followed by discussion and revisions until a final consensus has been reached. www.uttana.com

  6. Further Deployment • The Tactical Teams will follow the same process of revision and collaboration to form Operational Teams, made up of supervisors and middle managers. • Action Teams will also be chartered this way. www.uttana.com

  7. Action Teams • An Action Team is any team that directly conducts problem solving and improvement activities, but does not deploy the Hoshin Plan on to another team. • In addition to frontline Action Teams which are chartered by the Operational Teams, action teams can also be chartered by the Tactical and Hoshin Teams. www.uttana.com
