What is ? • RefWorks is an online, web-based tool that SPU has purchased for you to use • RefWorks helps you to create your own personal database where you can import, store and organize information about the articles, web sites, books, and other resources that you are using for your research • RefWorks helps you create your in-paper references and bibliography/footnotes/reference list What isn’t ? • RefWorks is not a database of articles • RefWorks is not an editor – you must edit the citation information yourself • RefWorks is not a substitute for knowing the proper way to cite your resources

  2. Getting Started • Go to www.refworks.com • Click on Login • if you are asked for the group code, it is rwseattlepacificu • Create your individual account
