ENGINEERING EDUCATION In the French tradition, engineering education : • A very competitive selection process of students • Basic scientific courses (maths, physics, chemistry, …) during year 1 and 2 • Engineering courses during year (2), 3 and 4 (when it exists) • Economics and management courses • Strong links with industry

Master of Science • After a Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) • A period, if needed, to improve French language • Tailored to international standards (European : Bologna agreement in 1999; Berlin agreement, 2003) • 15-18 months (3 semesters) in Paris, including an internship : • A period of 2 semesters : 600-800h courses, practical work and personal “project” • A period of one semester (internship) in a company or in a research laboratory • Cost : 5 000 € to 15 000 €, with students grants in certain cases
