  5. Why collegiality matters… • Just recently GOOGLE employees made national headlines because of the high rate of happiness… • Fulfilling relationships are valuable …

  6. Why this research is important • TCUs are very important to their Native communities: • Value of Native culture, history and language • Student access to educational opportunities • Economic and intellectual contributions

  7. Gap in the literature • In a recent dissertation query, of the 120 dissertations about TCUs, only a handful were about faculty • Of those few about faculty • NONE ADDRESSED COLLEGIALITY
