An Engineers work environment… • work from 7:00 to 4:00 • work with people and by ourselves • work on computers and with equipment • Every day is different!
CAD Drafting Careers • Associates Degree or Technical Training Required • Work closely with design engineers • Create solid models using sophisticated drawing software
Welding Careers • Vocational Training Required • Blue Print Reading required • Advanced Weld training after High School is a plus • Many welders work with robots
Machine Operator • Must understand blue prints • Many machines have computer interfaces with Windows • Must understand basic math concepts • Today’s machines are high-tech
Painter • Powder Coating used in both Plants • We employ 8 painters • Paint systems are controlled by computers and PLC’s
Assembler • Hydraulic connections • Electrical connections • Mechanical assembly • Work with basic hand tools • No prior training required
Assembly at Systems Control • Must be able to read blueprints • Installation of electrical components • Work with basic hand tools • No prior training required
Wire person • 70 wire persons employed at Systems • Fastest Growing area for new jobs at N.S.I, • Blue Print reading required • Dexterity
Welding • Manual and Robotic Welding • AWS Certified Weld Inspector on staff • MIG and TIG Welding capabilities • In-house fixture design and manufacturing
Tester • Electrical training required - Electrical Engineering or E.E. Technician • Use PC based testing software • Functional testing of Relay Panels
