How do students obtain 230 credits? Secondary education each school year has two semesters. 1st: Fall Semester August –December 2nd: Spring Semester January-June All high school students take 6 classes that are worth 5 credits per class for each semester. 1st Semester: Possible points 30 credits. 2nd Semester: Possible points 30 credits. Total possible for school year August through June 60 credits.

FRANKLIN MIDDLE SCHOOL ACADEMIC PLAN PLAN FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS PARENTS HOW YOU CAN HELP 1) Check your student’s planner daily to see if your student is completing the assignments. 2) Check to see if the work has been completed nightly. Ask your student what major projects or assignments are coming up that require work over several days. 3) Check the weekly progress report every Friday. A. Commend you childs’ efforts towards completing assignments and reward them when they finish. 4) Check in with your child’s teachers regularly. Make sure you know when your child’s progress reports or report cards are scheduled. 5) Schedule a conference with your child’s teacher, when necessary.
