Virtual connections: portal and interactivehub www.groundwatercop.iwlearn.net • Global Groundwater Forum started in 2013 • Initially conceptualized with the long-term needs of the CoP in mind • Place for groundwater professionals from across the world to share ideas and best practices • A portal for all activities of the CoPs The Global GroundwaterForum: A Permanent Home for the CoP forum.un-igrac.org • Site housed by IGRAC and linked to our Meta Information Module • Moderated by UNESCO-IHP and IGRAC • Able to host groups for public or private discussions • All ideas and contributions are welcome!

Analysis of the GEF Groundwater Portfolio • Living document (to be finalized and published in 2014) • Tool to present and review the portfolio of GW projects (co-)financed by the GEF and implemented by differentAgencies and partners • Added value: analysis and digestion of these projects in light of disseminating outstanding results, lessons learned and replicablepractices Series of Groundwater Integration Dialogues • Promoteconjunctive management of surface and groundwaterresources • Share knowledgeatregionallevelacross the IW portfolio and beyond • IDialogue: Cape Town, May 2013 (w/ NEPAD, IGRAC, IUCN) • II Dialogue: Buenos Aires, June 2013 (w/UNECE, IGRAC, IUCN, ECLAC, …) • III Dialogue, location tbc, 2014
