  3. Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Admissions in the First Six Months following Redeployment Inpatient Admissions Time (months) - The average number of inpatient admissions over the six month period is statistically significantly lower in BCT 1 than in BCT 2 (t(10) = -4.36, p <.001).

  4. Referrals for Outpatient BH Care at the time of Redeployment Screening (r-SRP) - The number of referrals was statistically significantly lower in BCT 1 than in BCT 2 (χ2(1) = 177.34, p < .001).

  5. Rates of Significantly Different Risk Behaviors During First Six Months Following Redeployment Rate Per 1000 Soldiers - Chi-square tests indicate that counts of suicide attempts and gestures, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), spouse abuse, financial problems, and positive urinalysis tests were statistically significantly lower in BCT 1 than in BCT 2 (p < .05). However, traffic violations were statistically significantly higher in the BCT 1 than in BCT 2 (p < .01). - Change of reporting criteria for Traffic Violations between each BCT’s redeployment
