  4. How to request - Mechanics Periodical On request Pressure Defined with link persons and equipment owners for the year. Launched in defined dates after confirmation of equipment owner and TSO Requested by link persons, equipment owner or DSO. Lifting Defined with equipment owners for the year following in advance the maintenance plan. Launched in defined dates after confirmation of TSO Requested by equipment owner or DSO Safety valves Launched in defined dates to the equipment owners Requested by equipment owner or DSO

  5. How to request – Electricity, waste, fire Periodical On request Electrical inspections Defined with equipment owners for the year following safety risk. Launched in defined dates after confirmation of TSO Requested by equipment owner or DSO. Special waste Launched in defined dates for batteries and special waste in LHC points Requested by TSO, waste producers or DSO Fire protection Requested by equipment owner or DSO

  6. How to request – Qualifications, buildings Periodical On request Welders qualification Requested by supervisor or project leader. Buildings inspection Defined for the year at fixed dates following SC risk classification and geographic synergies. Launched after confirmation of TSO Requested by TSO or DSO. Special analysis requested by DSO

  7. General Safety inspections – from 1st January Legislation CERN IS4 EU Directive 89/654/CEE Les inspections de sécurité permettent d’évaluer les conditions générales de sécurité et de travail. Elles peuvent mettre en évidence des mesures à prendre ou des modifications à apporter afin d’améliorer la sécurité ou les conditions de travail. Elles doivent également permettre d’assurer que les installations/équipements se trouvant dans le bâtiment ont été soumis aux inspections de sécurité initiales et périodiques obligatoires

General Safety inspections – What’s new Objective Give/train the TSOs on the tools to follow safety in his building Pre-visit • Review with the help of checklists : • Safety analysis of the building • Safety inventory • Tools to check the reporting on equipment safety inspections • Tool to check the previous inspections on the building Start the creation of a building safety file Visit the building with a checklist that the TSO could use by himself identifying the risk on site Visit Post-visit Fill together the report to improve the understanding of the problems and the way to solve them
