  3. There are two methods of registration: 1. In person in the Registrar’s Office (Burgin E. Dossett Hall, Room 102)2. GoldLink-Online RegistrationTo get to GoldLink-Online Registration go to the ETSU Homepage at http://www.etsu.eduand click on GoldLink. How to Register

  5. Enter Secure Area

  6. Enter User ID and PIN or Click Don’t Know Your E Number You must enter a capital letter “E” when typing your E#

  7. Don’t Know Your E-Number

  8. Enter User ID and PIN Click Login or press Enter

  9. Change Your Pin You will need to: 1. Re-enter your Old PIN (6 digit birthday MMDDYY again) 2. Enter a new 6 digit PIN and 3. Enter your new PIN 4. Click Login

  10. Forgot Pin

  11. Forgot Pin The first time you login, you will be prompted to enter a security question and answer. This question and answer will be used to allow you to manually reset your pin. Choose a question and answer you will remember.

  12. Change your PIN You will need to: 1. Re-enter your Old PIN (birthday again) and 2. Enter a new 6 digit PIN and 3. Click Reset PIN

  28. To RegisterClick Add or Drop Classes Add or Drop Classes

  29. Enter CRN Course Reference Number The CRN is a five digit code assigned to each course. To register for classes: 1. Enter your CRN’s here 2. Click Submit

  30. How to Verify Your Registration Verify the courses you registered for are correct. Note: Watch for error messages and carefully read them.

  31. How to Add and Drop • To Add another class: • Enter the call number in the Add Class box • Click Submit • To Drop a class: • Click on the Action drop down menu (None) and select Drop • Click on Submit

  32. How to View Your Concise Schedule • Click Registration • Scroll Down to Detailed Schedule • Select Term • Click on Submit

  37. Your Grades Grades are not mailedautomatically at the end of the term. If you need a grade mailer, you must request it within 10 days of the end of the term. You can view your grades on GoldLink.

  39. Fee Information • Fees are due Aug. 27, 2010. • You must pay or confirm on or before Aug. 27, 2010 by 4:30 p.m. or your schedule will be purged, and you will have to re-register. • After Aug. 27, 2010 a late fee of $100 is charged to those who have not paid fees.

Confirm Your Registration • All students must confirm their registration. • If you have full financial aid, covering all your fees or you are due a refund, you must confirm your registration no later than Aug. 27, 2010. • Students who pay their fees complete confirmation when they make payment by Aug. 27, 2010 • Confirm through GoldLink or by contacting the Bursar’s office. • You cannot confirm until fees for 2010-11 have been assessed.

You are ready to confirm your registration if: You are ready to pay with personal funds, or You have received and returned your Financial Aid award letter to the Office of Financial Aid, No additional information is requested on the Financial Aid link onGoldLinkand Your “estimated financial aid” on GoldLink is sufficient to cover your outstanding fees.

Before You Confirm… • If you have applied for and expect to receive Financial Aid, Click on the Student/Financial Aid tab on GoldLink to determine the status of your Financial Aid awards. • If additional information is needed to complete your Financial Aid file, contact Financial Aid immediately at 423-439-4300, 800-704-3878 or finaid@etsu.edu.

  50. Follow the prompts through the confirmation process. Print a copy of the confirmation screen and retain for your records. Successful Confirmation
